I played captive in my own mind.
released me thinking if i hadn't woke
where it would have left me.
Empty. Lazy. My afternoon daily.
Beats playing back with a bump.
Thoughts gone same ones that kept me up.
Funny now cause I can't get up.
Falling back again.

While I catch the sky going in opposite direction.
Cracked door to world. The knob blurred in reflection was me.
Sunshine climbing through the blinds like it missed me.
Same birds from the past hour.
Perched on a tree above a flower.
Above a worm thinking "World give me power to escape this.
I was meant for more. Reaching for the distance."
Not wanting to know the end of the journey
cause I was on the same one.
Earthworms trying to get away from.
Just leave me to peace till I dozed again.
Time went by yet the clock stilled frozen.
With a melody came in the warm summer air
speaking in a riddle to me.
Yet was soothing. Tilt my head to catch it.
Open closet and a dirty basket. Whispering vanity fair.
Odd to wonder why I never asked who was there.
Always talking. Focused on the dust in the air.
Captured in light. Like little angels on the flight
to a cloudless heaven replaced with the calmest ocean blue.
Left the world last words to the lover "I'll be waiting for you."
